The Ali Kat Rockabilly guitar, during its manufacturing stage, i though it would be a great opportunity to share this authentic metal accoustic bluesy sound, this has led to the plans for an Ali Kat Accoustic guitar.

September 2010.The Ali Kat "Phat Kat" is exhibited and played live for the very first time, at the Victor Harbor Rock N Roll weekend, By None other than Adeliade`s Finest Rockabilly bnds, "The Satellites" Until now it had not been tested or played through an amp, not even I knew what it would sound like ! Steve Mitchell was so Impressed he did the whole second set on the Ali Kat.

Meeting one of the finest Blues Guitarists ( on the reccomendation of UK Double Bass Player Ian Jennings) has lifted the Ali Kat Journey to another Level. Everything I dreamed that the Ali Kat would sound like happened in the hands of JAMES MESTON. James said that this was a serious guitar, not a gimmick, a fine peice of art, that should be in the regions of $5000 to $6000 and up depending on finish. He said he used to use Pyrex guitar slides, until he had the traditional Glass ones made and ground from wine bottles, he said he had a vision of a sound he wanted to find, a sound that was different to his Fender, and today he said, in my hands , the Ali Kat produced that sound, I saw him shaking his head, I asked everything ok? He just said UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE!! he has never heard a sound like it it just sings, and when he plays, he became the Ali Kat... an experience I would not have wanted to miss... In fact, I named the Guitar Little Red Rooster !! after he sang it..we are planning at a sooner rather than later date... James to play the Acoustic Ali Kat once it is complete...
